JVM exitcode = -11114

my j2ee server does not start anymore, I get the error below:

[Thr 5140] JLaunchIExitJava: exit hook is called (rc = -11114)

[Thr 5140] **********************************************************************

      • ERROR => The Java VM terminated with a non-zero exit code.

      • Please see SAP Note 943602 , section 'J2EE Engine exit codes'

      • for additional information and trouble shooting.

any idea why?

Hi Tiberiu,

Have a look at the Below Link, it might be helpful.

The following post in the above link would be the solution.

"Go to the config tool and in the ume & ldap data section in your left frame I changed the xml configuration file file from the db only to abap. this brings all the info that J2ee will use to connect and start the server".
