JVM error with SAP NW 7.01 trial installation

hi All,

i just had the source for SAP NW 7.01

i have Windows XP professional SP2

when i try to install the software it gives me this error

Error in instructions. Invalid jvm file name specified in LAUNCH. Invalid Variable Specifications Line Number (4)

i cleaned all the java runtime i have on my PC and cleaned ther registry after that i installed the Java runtime 6 from java website

and i still have this error.

any idea?

Hi,

Did you install the correct JDK as per the installation document and set the enviroment variable JAVA_HOME? post few logs \Program Files\sapinst_instdir.

What database are you installing?

i dont have installation documents, i just follow the instructions in the start page.

i downloaded the latest JDK and set the JAVA_HOME to C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_12\bin

its still give me the same error

am i right?
