TLB _Building Method

I am facing an issue in understanding customization of TLB building Method.TLB does it in two ways:

1. Capacity Based

2. Rounding Value.

I have read the help several times but I am not able to make the difference.

Please inform me what is the difference by giving an Example.

Rule 1: 200 kg < weight < 1000 kg

Quantity in one order: 1225

Rounding vaue: 100

for the following

Rule 1: 200 kg < weight < 1000 kg

Quantity in one order: 1225

Rounding vaue: 100

min.weight for the truck to can carry is >200 kg

and the max. weight truck can carry is <1000 kg

For the quantity you have specified we need 2 trucks as you need to round this to 100 this becomes

1300kg. so you can carry 1000 in truck1 and rest 300 in truck2.

Hi dodiya,

In Capacity based, the rounding will be done for products based on the total load of the truck capacity. In rounding value based, the rounding value will be calculated for each and every product and then the total load will be arrived.

In your example, if there are two products A and B whose weights are 550 kg and 720 kg respectively, if the rounding values are both 100, if the total truck capacity is 1300 Kg then

as per capacity based, system will add 550 + 720 = 1270 kg rounded to 1300 as per rounding value and it can be loaded

as per rounding based, 550 will be rounded to 600 kg, 720 will be rounded to 800 kg and the total comes to 1400 kg, since the total capacity of truck is 1300 kg, 100 kg cannot be loaded.
