I have a situation where I would like to transport my message mapping back from the production system to the qa system. I'v tried an export from the production system and I've imported it successfully in the qa system, but still the "newer" versions exists in the qa system. --- Or the other way around, may I delete/remove an imported revision of a mapping in the qa system?
This would not be recommended to edit/delete the mappings in QA. Why don't you delete the mapping in Dev and import the mapping from Prod. Then transport it again to QA. This also seems strange

I did find a solution fitting me needs.
In the qa system I
opened the actual message mapping
opened the history
dobbel-clicked on the version that I would like to have active (the one that I have active in my production system)
opended this old version for editing
activated it - and I now got a new version, but identical to the earlier version
