Hi,
I have a problem when I try to connect an ERP (ECC 6.0) with a BI 7.1.
I'm using the help document "Setting up connection between BW and R/3 for data load". It helps a lot, but I'm facing issues when I try to distribute the Model using bd64.
When I distribute the message appears:
RFC destination for synchronous communication (message type SYNCH)
Partner profile LS BI System SYNCH does not exist
Generate partner profile
or specify outbound partner profiles for message type SYNCH
I do not know what to do i order to get a SYNCH message type.
As well when I try to generate the Partner profile for BI through bd64:
Port could not be created
RFC destination BI System not specified for system BI System
Enter the RFC destination and restart the generation
Sorry, but I'm not that familiar with BASIS Settings.
Can somebody please help?
Joerg

Thanks for your quike respond, but it didn't help.
I think the issue was related to the Outbound Ports which were not created for the Partner Profiles. Now that I created the Partner Profile in WE20 (for Port creation WE21: 1x RSSEND, 1x RSINFO). After doing this, the generation was successful. Now I can start working.

In addition to that, make sure the client is made modifiable in SCC4 on both ECC and BI systems.

Maintain the Logical systems in both ends then go to SM59 and change the RFC to match.
That should solve your problem.
