Document Characteristics Update from EasyDMS to Backend

Hi,

I hope you can help me with the following problem:

When changing the status of a document to released the characteristics are only updated in the EasyDMS client. (for example, you see the characteristics by opening a MS Word document and choosing

File->Properties). Is there anyway to make the system update the characteristic even in the backend system?

The characteristics are updated when using the Check In functionality.

I solved the problem by switching to the file-property technology to transfer data from the SAP system to the original application file.

Hi,

As you modify the char. in EasyDMS it will also update the same chara. in backend system as easydms and DMS are integrated.

Hi Anirudh,

the characteristic is updated in table DRAW and when I look at the list in CV04N. However, when I display the word document and go to File->Properties, then the characteristic is not in sync with the document status. Displaying the same document via EasyDMS shows that the document is in sync.

Any idea how I can update the word document when opening it via the backend?
