Hi All,
We have decided to upgrade the Solution Manager system 7.0 SP13 to SP17. The issue we are having is one of the sapdata2 mount is 96% full.
But other sapdata mounts (sapdata1, sapdata3, sapdata4) are having sufficient space of around 20GB individually.
If i start the SP upgrade at this stage will space issue in sapdata2 mount, create some issue ?
We cant add more space for sapdata2 mount at this stage.
Kindly advice
OS is Solaris
Database : Oracle 10.2
Regards
Naveen
You can do this by 2 way.
1. Loging to OS level & check.
2.Goto tcode DB02>Current Sizes>Data files.
This will show you all datafiles. Here check which the tablespaces which are inside sapdata2 folder
Here check which are the tablespaces which are in sapdata2 & as said above analyze top tables & indexes.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Sushil

Hi,
Can you check which tablespaces are thr in sapdata2 dir. For those tablespaces you take list of top 50 tables & indexes. If you find any index size greater than table size then you can make some space by rebuilding them. You can do that by tcode Se14>put table name->Index>Activate & Adjust database.
Also you can add datafile to those tablespaces on different location if you free space in other drive.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Sushil

Hello Naveen,
It might cause some issues as Oracle datafiles are distributed acorss the sapdata files.
So suppose while upgrading, data goes into sapdata2 and it gets filled,then....
better go for increase in space
