Unable to open docs on other pc's (urg guys))

Hi,

I am configuring DMS for my client.

I have created a document in CV01N using doc. type TST

and attached a file to the document

Now i have attached this doc. to my Material Master (thru Obj. Links)

But my problem is when i try to open this doc. in some other PC

it is saying that cannot open this file as the network path / Incorrect Menu Path is there

i am able to open this on my PC but not on other users pc's

Any sugg. on this.

Hi,

Can you please confirm where are you storing the files either vault ot content server. or check if server front end is defined in data carrier.

Thanks for the reply.

I am new to DMS so plz to meet my issue can u plz elaborate on how to move frwd on the cust. settings.

Also we r not using content server and we r accessing files via vaults

I am using the std. Conf. settings in DC20 & DC30.

What more is req.??

Hi,

Verify that ftp daemon is running on the vault server. From problem at appears that ftp daemon is not running. Then in OD41 add the DVA user, password.

Pls verify that you are able to ckeckout file in vault.
