CHaRM-Not able to see Logon to System

Hi CHaRM Gurus,

Quick question, in ur.gent correction when status set "In Development", as a Developer not see the u201CLogon to Systemu201D under actions.

Please let me know, if i am missing any settings

The action should be visible when status is set to "In Developement". Make sure your document is free of errors.

hi,

the easy way to see what is wrong there is to go in the action log of your document.

You can read there what is the action profile and why the action log-on to development is not met

How to see the log ?

Display your correction with CRMD_ORDER

You need to go in the transaction data tab and Actions tab

There by clicking on the log file (on the right of your screen ) you can see the full log of the actions profiles

The first line confirms the actions profile of your document

tell me what you read there and we can figure out the problem and fix it

Hi

Here is the log one of my ur.gent correction and status "Set in Development"

Date: 02/23/2009 Time: 15:27:02

Processing HF_SET_STATUS Is Started

Requests DEVK900100 DEVK900103 created

Action Create Transport Request in system DEV 100 of type Source Systems completed

Action successfully completed

I do not see any error there. When status "Set in Development" I can see the following Actions

Release Transport Requests

Pass Correction to Test

Withdraw Correction

Create New Transport Request

Create Task

Critical Transport Objects

Transport into Sandbox System

But I do not see "Logon to System"

hi Ava,

if you don't see the action in the log of your document , that means that it is indeed not scheduled at all.

Did you change the standard SDHF_ACTIONS profile ?

If yes, you need first to reinsert it in your action profile

If not , for whatever reason this action is not scheduled anymore in SPPFCADM

in this case just click on the create button and use the condition Tasklist with Open group

it should work (verify that your tasklist has open this option for your project)

Hi Xavier,

I am facing the same issue in my solman configuration.

I am getting the error message as

"There is no action merging available for action definition LOGON"

But in the action definition we assigned the action merging as

"Max. 1 Unprocessed Action for Each Action Definition"

Can you please help me to solve the issue?

I have also "Max. 1 Unprocessed Action for Each Action Definition" in my LOGON_MJ setting. This is working fine

In the standard configuration for the action profile SDMJ_ACTIONS the LOGON_MJ action is available

under the condition Regular Task Plan with Open Group

for status E0002 without error , or E0004 or , E0009

E0002 for "in development"

E0004 for "to be tested"

E0009 for "consolidated"

do yo meet this requirement ? or check that you did not changed the schedule condition (check also this is active)

YES. Added the 5 Action Definition for sending notification to Change Manager, Developer, IT Operator, Production Manager & Tester.

How to re-insert in Action Profile. I mean I have not changed any existing functionality. Just added Z* Action Definition to SDHF_ACTIONS for my notifications purpose.

There is no Create button. Only new entries. Is there any other place to add the Actions or delete actions and add new actions. How to do that? Please tell me with step by step.

Hi,

in order to debug this situation,, you need to go in your document with CRMD_ORDER and select the actions tab in change mode. Click on the log icon to verify the right action profile is selected (first line of the log) and if your logon action is present (even if condition is not met)

If not present, you need to schedule your action or verify what is wrong there

If present but condition not met you need to verify your condition.

tell me the log content and we will find out what is wrong there

hi,

ok it seems you didn't schedule LOGON in your schedule

Proceed like this to schedule your action LOGON again

go in transaction SPPFCADM

select the object CRM_ORDER

select SDHF_ACTIONS profile (it is easier to click on the button Technical name on the top left pane)

on the right pane you will see the list of actions attached to this profile

Normally the action LOGON is not present in the list anymore (for whatever reason someone removed it)

You need to click on the create button icon on the top left of your right pane (white document icon) this will pull down a list of available action in your SDHF_ACTIONS profile, select "Logon to System"

You have now inserted the action in the scheduling.

You need to specify the condition when this action is active

In the bottom pane Please put the condition with the name Task List with Open Group (don't change it or give a new name because this condition is NOT specific to this action)

In the schedule condition tab in the bottom pane you should see the following

&CRM Service Process.ErrorFreeFlag& = X

and &CRM Service Process.User Status& [*] E0002D+HEAD

That's really valuable information. But I just want to add that when I check SDHF_ACTIONS under CRM_ORDER of PPF:Applications in Customizing, I found

Action Definition Description Sort Order Inactive

LOGON Logon to System 1 <not checked>

and in Define Conditions for Action (Transporatable)

I can see LOGON Action Definitions for SDHF_ACTIONS with status Green and Condition NUmber 1 Process Type Method Call Performs action according to container element ACTION_ID

Schedule Condition Task List with Open Group Rule Type WF

ACTION_ID value NAVIGATE_SYS

In Overview

Schedule

Schedule Condition Task List with Open Group

Radiobutton unchecked Schedule Automatically

Radiobutton checked In the Worklist

How do you came to know that LOGON is missing?

Do I need to delete and recreate LOGON for SDHF_ACTIONS or delete completely SDHF_ACTIONS and recreate.

It looks like everything is fine for your settings

I came to the condition on LOGON was missing because I didn't see it in the log.

Looks like this is not active for whatever reason

We had similar issue in the past.

Try to delete LOGON from the schedule and reschedule it again with the same condition.

Everything looks like normal to me

You don't need to delete SDHF_ACTIONS for this reactivation.

If you succeed, you should see LOGON in the action log of your document

Sorry I don't have specific doc on that

tell me the result and we can dig further if it doesn't work

Hi,

You need to check the schedule condition for this problem.

Go to SPPFCADM, Select the action profile for your document type say, Ur.gent Correction.

There you can see the action Logon to System.

Check the schedule condition for this particular action. This actually works fine with the default status profile of your ur.gent correction.

Just check your status "In Development" has been taken care of in Schedule condition.

This should solve your problem.
