Reason for movement for clearing differences

Hi! I understand the new LI21 transaction no longers prompt for the entry of the reason code during difference posting. I found a note 559531 that allow us to use the old transaction to do that. However, I also know that there is a BADI in ECC6 that allows us to build this function. My question is: which is a better solution going forward? Are there anyone out there using ECC6 who is using the old LI21 program? Any limitations with using the old transaction?

Found a OSS note 559531 that allow one to use the older version of LI21 to post the difference with reason codes. Another way is to implement a BADI.
