'Host Spool error' when trying to print check

I am attempting to print a check, and in the output request list screen, I am getting the "Host Spool Error" when printing, and the check will not print. The Info is telling me that it is unable to iniatialize the particular device that i have selected, but the device is working properly with no issues. Any ideas what the problem may be?

Hi,

Check if entering IP address instead of server name makes difference in SPAD? Also check with any other printing method? Post few more details about your settings.
