Lot number for inspection type 01

Hi Gurus,

We have maintained 01 inspection type for externally procured materials.At the time of each GR inspection lot gets generated.But the lot number is skipped by one number.For eg. at first GR the lot no. is 1 & for next GR the lot no. is 3. Why the system is skipping the number.

Hi Amit,

There is a number range buffer of 50 for inspection lot .

If u want to avoid skipping of the numbering

go to SNRO transaction input the object QLOSE and change the no of numbers in buffer to 1
