Configuring client dependent TMS

Former Member

Hello,

i have two system landscape - DEV and PRD

where DEV has two clients 100 and 110 and PRD has one client 400

I have used the standard two system configuration but in that way i can not seem to make import of changes made in the customizing client 100 to the test client 110.

When i try to import the created transports in DEV.100 to DEV.110 it says target client=source client. Nothing Done

So basically how do i correct this one? i want Transports in created in 100 to be able to be imported in 110,

Do i need to create a target group or what?

and if yes what do i add in it?

Any help would be welcome

Becasue your transports system has not been configured to import witin the same system. for that you have to create a transport group then it will come in the queue of your 110 client or you can use SCC1 for local transport.

ok i have created target group /Zxxx/

i add the following clients

PRD.400

DEV.100

DEV.110

i save and activate

Hmm i have found the problem, all old routes needed to be deleted, as it would not let me use the layers with the extended transport control

now i recreated the consolidation routes for SAP and ZDEV and it is cool

Thank you for your help
