Hi,
We have a condition type which gets determined in the order based on plant & material (it does not have access sequence). After we upgraded from 4.6c to ECC6 this condition type although getting determined into the order is getting deleted when we save the order. I believe it could be an isue with some pricing function modules. Could any body throw some light...
Thanks,
Ramesh
Good Afternoon,
I think the issue you are having is due to the pricing type you are using in the function module PRICING_COMPLETE. Let me elaborate.
Pricing in a sales document (whether sales order or invoice) works as
below:
a) First an item pricing for each item runs (function PRICING).
During this pricing run the conditions are re-evaluated based on the
current values for condition basis and scale basis.
Here, the condition values are calculated independently.
b) After this, document pricing (function PRICING_COMPLETE) which runs
when you save the document or switch to the header pricing screen
the system computes the item-spanning condition basis and scale
basis for group condition.
This is where the correct value of the group condition is calculated.
Another consideration is if you manually change a condition then you mus
ensure that when you update pricing that a pricing type which calculates
manual changes is used - please refer to note 24832 which outlines each
pricing type and how each works.
You should consider changing the pricing type used in pricing_complete to one
that suits your requirements.
I hope you find this information very helpful and hopefully it will solve your problem.
