MIC not updating in Material specification

Dear Experts,

We have maintained class characteritics CL1 in batch class BCL1 which we assigned to a material MAT1 in the classification screen. The same class characteristic assigned to MIC MIC1 . When we checked in Material specification only the class characteritic got updated , where the field for MIC , MIC1 not got updated in . Can you suggest why it is not updating ?

Dear Friends,

The problem is due to the MIC was created after the material specification was created . For the MIC to get automatically appear in the material specification for which a class characteristic assigned , the MIC should be created before material specification was created , otherwise we need to manually assign the MIC in the material specification.

Dear Shyamal,

After material is created and saved we checked the material specification in QS61 . In that material specification both the MIC and the class characteristic should appear . But in our case only the class characteristic appearing . The MIC to which the class characteritics assigned in QS21 not appearing.
