contract-sales order

Hi all,

i created a value contract for 50,000 USD.

w.r.t this contract i created a sales order for 40,000 USD.

now in the contract the released value is showing as 40,000 USD and Target value as 50,000 USD.

when i change the target value as 30,000USD(less than released value) system accpted, but in this case system should not accept the less value.

how to do this?

Hi

Please check the field COMPLETION RULE in the item category of that contract. It specifies how the contract can be referred and when the contract is treated as completed. Please assign a proper value in that field and check.

Hi,

in sap contract sales order is treated as quotation. so system will not give error message as in general business anyone accepts more order value than quotation value. so system gives only warning message. if u need it error and restrict system not go further then take tech consultant help and get it done as this warning message doesn't come under message variables in IMG to change it error fromwarning.
