How to link Cost plan data with budget value

Dear Experts,

I want a scenario like, my budget for a particular wbs should be same as my plan value.

How to address this in sap.

Any development required or standard sap assit this.

Hi Ashis,

If i understand your requirement correctly , you need to have the budget values same as your plan values.

For this i would suggest that you create your plan using cj40. Then if this plan is approved. now you can use t-code IMCCP3 to copy your plan to budget. After this your plan values = budget value.

no i m not talking about the initial budget which is the replica of plan.

My question is system should stop us when we r changing original budget without changing the original plan just to make my plan and budget value in sync.

In CJ30, select WBS elments and then from top menu select 'Edit->CopyVirew" and then "Planned Total" from the list and mention percentage 100.

Dear All,

i think i have not made u clear the question.

When i am saying plan = budget, means during the project execution if somebody wants to change the budget or transfer budget from one wbs to another wbs,

then system should not allow unless untill we made the similar changes in planning data in CJ40.

"means system should force us to work in discipline manner"

Edit Copy view 100% anuual as weel as Overall values select.

now check your budget values
