Hi,
I am running SAP J2EE Engine 6.30 on Solaris 9(64 bit). I am trying to stop the J2EE Engine using the Shell Console Administrator tool. As <SID>adm I go to:
/usr/sap/<SID>/JC64/j2ee/os_libs
jcmon pf=../../../SYS/profile/<SID>_JC64_hostname
then I get to this menu:
JControl Monitor Program - Main Menue
============================================================
0 : exit
-
10 : Cluster Administration Menue
-
20 : Local Administration Menue
when I enter 20:
command => 20, I get the following error:
ERROR => shmget(16468,74304,480) (22: Invalid argument) [shmux0_mt.c 1904]
Can't open shared memory administration (rc=1)
Any advise would be truly appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Buddha.

Hi,
just a hint: there should be a dev_jcmon file in /usr/sap/<SID>/SCS<ID>/work directory. Did you have a look in there and see if it tells you more about the error?
