Removing an equipment / adding new one from store

What is the process of removing the equipment from function location and installing a new/refurbished from store.

we cannot use the maintenance order for issuance of equipment to the order from store, as it will be consumed by the order.

And consequently could not be added to the function location ???

I found sap process in PM "Installing Equipment with Simultaneous Material Movement"

What will be the movement type in this case or the reservation would be for what.

We may not want to use it. What else could be the way of doing the above.

u can use IE4N for installing view ...

hi,

the link was related to 4.6c version but u can have a look into that ... and ther are no much changes for ECC6 i think...

In ECC6 it is being done through configuration control workbench.
