Hi

Go for Client Export and Import.

you can also use client export/import.

SCC8 = client export

then, import transport files into destination

finally, run SCC7 in destination

I would use a standard systemcopy to copy the complete system.

Be aware, that if you only copy the client, the DDIC and sources have to be identical.

Hello Imran,

It is very much possible

There are two ways of doing it either remote client copy or client export/import.

I would suggest you to go with remote client copy

You can find the details for remote client copy here:

Let me know if you have any questions

so in this way we can move all data ( transactinal , master & user data) of one client to another , if both system are on same application level

i will follow these steps .

Source system

SCC8 = client export

Target system

then, import transport files into destination

run SCC7 in destination

Yes.

But your system is not in landscape so the Data/cofiles you have to move manually from source system to target system

ok..

i try to client export , by selecting profile SAP_ALL and target system press F4 to search target system. then it not search my target system, while i can ping it and also can open its shearch folders.

remember that both system are not in landscap they are standalon server.

Also tell me which Data/cofiles i will copy after resolving that problem.

Hi,

When you perform client export through SCC8 ...it displays 3 transport request number.

You need to copy these Transport request cofile in /USR/SAP/TRANS/COFILES and datafile in /USR/SAP/TRANS/DATA to the target system and then import using STMS.

Hi,

You can enter source system SID in the target host while creating the data files and co-files in SCC8. Once these files are ready you can copy them to target server and import using STMS.

You will find datafile and cofiles in /usr/sap/trans.

Hope this helps.

look, run SCC8 to export your client, while doing this, you WILL GET FULL PROCEDURE to continue form that point on. read it, print it and do it.
