HI ,,

I created a web dynpro application. In that if iam giving ip adress and host name in the path(c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\host )of my local PC,its deploying successfully.

But my requirement is

I dont want to define anything in my local PC ,means i deleted ip address and host name in the host,,,,,its giving error like this.......

Deployment error occurs when deploying from IDE, the following message is

displayed:

Server XXX did not accept login request as admin on port 50018

Details: ERROR: Could not establish connection to server XXX at

port 50018: XXX

If you use SDM remote GUI with the same SDM host and port you can deploy

successfully.

Please tell me where i have to do settings, its in server or i have to write code in the NWDS.

If thts the case , Please provide the code for that.

Regards

Sushma

Hi,

You have to maintain that ip in your host file as you have done. Why you dont need this?

Hi Ayyapparaj,

Bcoz what ever the applications i created in the Web dynpro,i import all those in the Enterprise Portal.

In my system NWDS was installed, i given ip address and hostname in host path in my PC. If i want to access web dynpro application in Portal from other system (where NWDS was not installed). There also i have to give ipaddress and Hostname in that path.

In simple I don't want to define anything in my local PC. Please understand

if I define something in my local PC then it will more or less client

architecture and it is not web environment package.

So please tell me how to avoid using the local definition.

Is there any need to do modifications in Portal. What are the settings i have to do.

Thanks in Advance.

Hi,

What you are doing in your system has nothing to do with "Client architecture blah blah",

host file is a basic criteria to find a node in network environment.

if you want to avoid this Use a DNS.
