Hello Friend,

This T.code is used to change the data in the SAP tables. In SAP tables if you see all ways they are in display mode and through this T.code you can modify the data.

&sap_edit is used to edit the data of database tables like VBAK, VBAP...etc.

You can only modify the editable fields not primary key data..ex - VBELN is primary key in VBAK so you can't change this information.
