Hi,

Their is no vertical toolbar, but what you can do is create a set of buttons(Images) and place them in a container and another Viewcontainer UI adjescent to it.

Thanks, but buttons it's just a workarownd...

I know that with some other UI frameworks you can build verticals tabs.

It's very sad that WD doesn't allow this.

You could use a ViewSwitch UI element (from library "Pattern") instead.

I can't see this pattern in my NWDS 7 sp9 ...

I can see the IWDViewSwitch in the NW 7.0 (SP10) Javadoc:

http://help.sap.com/javadocs/NW04S/current/wd/com/sap/tc/webdynpro/clientserver/uielib/pattern/api/I...

Probably you have to declare the usage of the "Pattern" library first. To do this, right-click on the component in the Web Dynpro Eplorer, select "Edit UI element library reference" (or similar) and check the entry for the "Pattern" library.

Hi Ola,

We can not create vertical tabs in WD. The tabstrip UI element inserts tabs in horizontal order.
