Reg: How we will identify the child materials for the BOM..

HI all,

In the sales order I have BOM material, and child material on sales BOM. Here How we will identify the child materials, is there any identification symbol.

Dear Mahaboob,

Simply the "HgLvlt" column will have values for only those items which r children to some other item.

Thus whereever there is a value in that filed for an item / sub-item that item/ sub-item will b a child of the item having d no. mentioned in that field.

Plz c all items may not have got xploded on thier own depending on d setting u hav made. Thus xplode all first 2 c wat all r d children.

Plz do close d thread if answered.

Normally, if BOM is exploded in sale order, It should be differentiated with item category. So you can identify with item category.

There's a column called higher Level item, which referenced the parent line item in the sales document
