Hi,
We are using 64 bit kernel.
OS is windows 2003 server with service pack 2. and the db is MSSQLSRV 9.0.3042
Our system is 24GB RAM with virtual momory of 72 GB.
And there are 3 systems running.
R3 Development and Quality and BW development.
We have set PHYS_MEMSIZE = 4096 for R3 develpment and BW development
and for R3 quality PHYS_MEMSIZE = 6192
We have set the profile parameter as per the SAP Note Note 88416 - Zero
administration memory management as of 4.0A/ Windows.
But still the response time is more for CPU. The CPU takes 80% of the total response time 1300MS.
But once we restart the server at the OS level the total response time decreases to 600ms. After 1 or two days it goes back to 1300ms.
Please help me.
Best Regards,
Sriram.S
I would recommend that you review SAP Note#1009297.
If the symptons described in that note are occuring then this can also cause a high CPU time, in this case obtain the KB from Microsoft and apply.
