NW Installation on LInix - Lib errors

Former Member

Hi,

I am installing SAP Netweaver 2004 (ABAP+Java) on SuSE Linux-10 server platform. I installed Linux and J2SDK on Linux. However, installation throws out below lib errors.

Not sure, if this is due to SuSe 10 version ? It is greatly appreciated, if any help on this.

However, these files / links are available at /lib dir.

Thanks,

Raj

Raj,

Pls check weather you have used a Sun J2SDK or IBM j2sdk.

Also set the library path properly.

Hi Sandeep - Thanks for your input. I used Sun J2SDK - 32 bit. Is it correct?

My system isAMD Anthlon 64-Dual core.. So, I did not use 64 bit.

However, I installed Linux-SuSE 10.0 Server.. I would be trying SAP recommended 9.x

I would let all of you, if it solves the issue.

Thanks,

Raj

Hello Raj,

It looks to be a JAVA version issue.

Please refer to following link http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wasinfo/v4r0/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.support.was40.doc/htm...

Also please refer to the follwoing blog:

This blog tells in detail about the instllation of SAP on SLES right from instllation of OS to instllation of SAP.This will be highly uesful
