Barcode-ISBN Creation

Hi All

We need to integrate the barcoding with Article Master, Ours is book industry and barcode integration is required to read and load isbn number ? and this master data should be fetch while creating Purchase order and doing MIGO

Please, Please help me out to MAP in SAP IS-Retaill

1) Can we use the field EAN to MAP the Barcode ?

2) Are there any transactions or anything needs to be activated ?

Hi Javeed,

Please follow the Steps to configure In IS Retail.

1) Create EAN Category in TCODE: W4ES

2) Define Number Ranges in W4EN.

3) Assign the EAN Category and ur Article EAN in MM42.

Once you maintain EAN in Article Master, it will be automatically copied to PO and GRN.

you can assgin EAN in article master data under basic data.

Hi Javeed,

The following are the tables where the EAN numbers are available.

MEAN - Primary table for EAN numbers.

MARM - This table is specifi to Unit of Measure

MLEA - Vendor specific EAN Table

Also you can consider the following function modules for conversion,output etc

EAN_SYSTEMATIC

Conversion_Exit_EAN11_OUTPUT

Conversion_Exit_EAN11_INPUT
