Inspection lot cancellation

Dear Experts,

we want to cancel inspection lot , as we want to return the material to vendor. But in the inspection lot , the canecl lot is greyed out . What to be done in this case.

Hi,

you have to reverse the document by which lot was generated and then the lot will get cancel automatically.

Can I posted it to un-restricted usage with UD as ' accepted ' and then through movement type 122 can I return it vendor ?

Dear Thiaga,

System is not allowing to return delivery since the stock is brought to un-restricted and displaying a message a deficit of stock in QA. From un-restricted how to return it to vendor.

kindly change the stock type to unrestricted in the item detail WHERE tab and try return delivery posting

i think you can only cancel the inspection lot once you made the usage decision ,make the usage decision ,post the qty to unrestricted and then check
