Storage location is not coming in the delivery

At the time of delivery, storage locationis not coming as a default .

Hi Vishal,

If storage location for picking is not specified in the order item, the system determines the storage location when it creates the outbound delivery and copies it into the delivery item. Otherwise, the storage location entered in the order item is used in the outbound delivery.

- The system determines the picking location based on a rule defined in the delivery type. The following rules are shipped in the standard system:

- MALA: The picking location is determined based on the shipping point, the delivering plant, and the storage condition for the material as defined in the material master.

- RETA and MARE: These rules are mainly used in trade scenarios.

- You can also use the customer exit in SAP enhancement V02V0002 to implement storage location determination.

- The picking location search is activated for each delivery item category.

Apart from the Raja suggestions check wheather the storage location has been assigned to your plant or not. in the enterprise structure

I would also suggest you check if the material is being maintained at the storage location you want.

Check your OVL3 settings

In-img-logistics execution--shippingpicking--assign picking locations

( I Dont have access to SAP now so the path may not be perfectly right But in the suggested area you can explore the right path)

But the t code is correct

Check whether in your delivery doc type OVLK storage location determination Rule MALA has been assigned or not You can only view here as it will be greyed out

In OVLQ have you assigned the rule mala TO YOUR DELIVERY TYPE

In t code zero VLP have you ticked your item relevent for picking

Then this MALA rule will flow in delivery types OVLK in picking location determination

If these are correct then Storage location will automatically come in delivery

If it is a sales order to delivery

In case of STO we mention the receiving plants storage location in the PO itself

Or in the Material master itself in the receiving plants organizational data in the MRP2 View procurement tab there is a field called storage location for EP if you give the storage location here automatically that value will be picked in PO

Have you got your error of shipping data not defined in STO corrected in the previous thread?
