Hi,

I want detail information about SAP Workflow how it is useful in the modules like QM or DMS.

if anybody having step by step procedure for activiting workflow in QM or DMS please give the details

Dear Vinay

Work flows are used for transferring information and also provide necessary actions for the same. For eg in notifications typicaly workflows can be

1) Author creates a notification assigns it a coordinator and saves

2) coordinator receive the notification through workflow to his portal or to his mail

3) Coordinator releases the notification with releasing all the tasks

4) task owners get there tasks through workflow

5) task owner completed the tasks and information goes to coordinator through work flow

in AMS this can be used

for Audit Plan approval, Audit approval, CAPA actions etc

Workflow requires a good amount knowledge for SAP workflow and ABAP. Please look into the link below it helps in knowing how to create a simple workflow. It is too good and very effective
