Anyone know of any tool we can use to compare roles between 4.6C and ECC 6.

We are looking for a way to compare all the roles in our current system(4.6c) to our new system(6.0). Anyone happens to know any tools that go cross clients?

If your roles are intact, then you can use SU25.

But perhaps you are refering to something else?

There are a few discussions about release upgrades of roles and also the sequence of the role uploads and cleaning up activities and where to perform the upgrade tasks.

If you can explain your "legacy" roles and refer to some threads which you have already read or strategies which you are considering, then it is easier to comment.

Please do the needfull (provide the information...),

Cheers,

Julius

If there is RFC connection between the your new ECC system and your current 4.6C system...or if the RFC connection between the two systems can be created by your Basis guys , you can use SUIM -> Comparisions of Roles -> Across systems.

If your Basis team has some issues with creating RFC connections between the two systems or if there is no RQC conections already between the two systems....the other way could be use AGR_1251 table for the roles and then dump the output in a excel file for both the systems and then compare them in excel...
