Events between iView and PopUp

Hello Experts,

I am new to VC, and I'm trying to accomplish several things just to know VC's capabilities and limitations. Most of the times I work WebDynpro Java, but it is always good to know the other tools to understand when and where is convinient to use which one.

So far I have 2 iViews that comunicate with each other through events, using signal in/signal out.. this is working perfect.

The problem is that in one of the iViews I have a PopUp signal, in the PopUp iView I would like to rise the an event defined in the parent iView, the same I am using to comunicate with the other iView, so far no success.

Here is my scenario:

View1 rises EventX in View2 (working fine)

View2 has PopUp signal with View2.1, and View2.1 rises EventX that belongs to parent View2 (not working so far)

Is this really possible? or event rising just occurs with iViews at the same level? is a limitation of VC? exist some kind of trick to accomplish this?
