reg: MI installation procedure?

Hi All,

we are new to MI.

we are trying to install MI. I have WAS SR1 dump. From the documentation, I have understood that I need both ABAP and JAVA engines. Now, can any one guide us on how do we proceed with the installations from scratch. we tried to download the MI installation guides from the SAP site but couldnt find any of them helping.

I would be grateful if some one gives a brief description of the installation process.

For configuration purposes, I would suggest you to follow the docs in SAPmarketplace.

Hi,

Welcome to SDN Forums.

You cannot install MI. You can only configure the WAS Server to work like MI Server.

For configuring the MI Server the <a href="https://websmp203.sap-ag.de/">sap market place</a> has many documents versions namely SPS13, SPS14, SPS15, SPS16

etc..,

hello sanket,

all the steps in the installation guide are not really

required to be performed. you only configure those functionalities

of MI you want to use. if you only need to use the generic

sync functionality, there would be lesser configurations.

what is your current system configuration?

which functionalities are you trying to implement?

- generic sync, smart sync, ssl, pios, sso etc...
