Cross Selling

Dear friends,

I'm trying to configure cross selling.

I've done all the necessary steps as described here: http://www.sap-img.com/sap-sd/cross-selling-how-to-configure.htm

Unfortunately this doens't seem to work. I guess I missed something...

When I try to create a sales order with the configured item, a little button "cross selling products" appears. When I click on it, nothing happens...

Need your help please.

Thank you.

Bahia.

Dear Bahia

Go to XD02 sales area level sales tab

On the rt side PP customer procedure have you assigened B there?

Hope you have done all the other configurations according to that document correctly

In VA01 from the top menu bar--environment-analysis--cross selling---on It will activate cross selling settings (click that)

If your configuration is perfect a pop up will come

Hi

In your sales order see what is the item category is getting determined

In VOV4 check for item category determination for that settings usage CSEL that is cross selling is maintained

As you know that usage is an ABAP programs which has certain controls in batches etc

Like this i found CSEL as cross selling

Your item category settings in VOV4 should be like this

Order typeitem category group from MMRusage CSEL the default item category is this

Add this usage in delivery item category determination also in t code 0184(zero 184)

After this pls log off for about a minute and have a tea and restart and try and post back

Dear Bahia

Hope you are aware of the concept of cross selling

When you buy a product the system will suggest the products associated with that

If you buy a TV the system will ask you (a pop up has to come) do you want a TV stand,Stabilizer etc

So based on the material entered the system will ask the associated products

My doubt is before entering the product are you looking for pop up?

Then it will not happen

Second thing is Have you assigned usage in the item category determination of both the main items and associated items

Please check step by step configuration once again

Condition records etc

All the best

Hello again,

I've checked step by step the configuration once again

Exuse me Raja but I don't seem to get it (the truth is I've never done this kind of customizing before).

While configuring cross selling, I've specified that a dialog box should appear "in request and after date is released".

What am I suppose to expect while creating a sales order, after entering the configured item ?

Shouldn't a pop up appear ??

Thank you,

Bahia.

Got the problem solved.

There was a free goods exlusive condition that seems to block that.

Thank you all.

I got a little problem with my connexion, this is why I didn't complete my answer.

Now it' done: like I said, it's all about free goods exlusive condition. I've removed this condition, and when I've tried to do a sale order again, the pop up appears.

You're welcome Raja.

Thank's for your helpful answers my friend.
