JSPM not usable for Update after IP adresse change

Hello,

we must change the IP adress of our EP.

Now the JSPM hang in Deployment after restart the J2EE in Safe mode.

He shows only "A Dispatcher is running on ...." and thats all.

We have updatet the J2EE with the SDM directly.

But why do the JSPM not found any cluster after a IP adress change.

There are any configurations to do?

Hi

Please see if the possible solution helps you.

To fix the issue you need to alter some configuration within jspm.xml. ...

1. Under /usr/sap/<SID>/<Central instance>/j2ee/JSPM/serverlocate jspm.xml file. Open it for edit.

2. Into the <ToolSettings> section locate <ToolHost> parameter.

3. Change the value from 'localhost' to the virtual hostname used by the cluster.

4. Restart JSPM tool. When asked for <host>/<port>, enter the virtual hostname and SDT server port (default one 5<instance numer>18).

have found the jspm.xml in /usr/sap/<SID>/JC01/j2ee/JSPM/data/variables

but no entry localhost in the file.
