Hi Shivkumar,

Error while installing Crystal 2008.

Resolution :

1) Ignore the error message and continue with installation.

2) Once its done go to add/remove programs and remove crystal 2008.

3) Now do the fresh installation once again which will help out and register the dlls.

Hi Shiv,

It is an OS error. We too got the same error. Consult your system engineer to fix the OS issue, using OS cds.

Hi Deepti/Sudheer,

I was installed Crystal Report 2008 V0,but after installation of same it was giving error like,dll is not registered.

But When I installed Crystal Report 2008 SP1,problem has been resolved.

Better way to install Crystal report 2008 SP1 instead of Crystal Report 2008 V0 to avoid such O.S. related problems.
