Restricting direct posting of actual cost at level one WBS

In our project scenario, we have

1). Only one root i.e. there is one WBS element at the first level (root) for each project definition.

2) Level one WBS will be a billing element.

3) Substitution in place to ensure that while creating and changing project, bill indicator for WBS other than level 1 would be removed .

4) We are using network with activity assigned .

Our auditors want to ensure that direct posting of actual cost at level one WBS should not be allowed or permitted.

Do any body guide me to meet audit compliance.

Uncheck Account assigment indiactor for this WBSE to block posting. It can be acheived by using substitution.

Hi,

The suitable user status will prevent actual postings. You may also remove the indicator 'Account Assignement' from WBS element. It will prevent postings as well.

Make use of user status. In OK02 you can define user status and forbid the relevent options. Check the forum ...there are lots of threads available.
