Hi Gurus

I av created a document with version '0" .

If i create a document with the same document number & type it creates document with new version A.

While creating the document with new version, old document is also copied.

Kindly let me know how to avoid the old document not to be copied for the new version.

Hi,

while creating a new document with new version, all the data from old version wil be copied to new version but this can be changed once DIR is created..

Hi Manoj,

If the old document is copied to the new version this can be changed means old document has to be deleted and want to attach the new original document.

Hi,

You can also analyze BAPI_DOCUMENT_*, so you can copy DMS document and not DMS originals. With this option, you have to develop.
