Message Resend Option in Message Monitoring

Hi Everybody,

I am working on a Idoc to SOAP Scenario.

The message is successfully processed in Integration Engine(No errors in SXMB_MONI) but due to connection issues with the receiver the message fails at reciever SOAP adapter.

Can we resend the message through receiver adapter using the resend option in message monitoring.

We are planning to do this in Production Environment as the number of messages failing per day for the interface is less than 30.

Are there any disadvantages of resending the message through Message Monitoring?

Can Somebody help me out on this?

Hi,

We can do that manually if we need, but it is not good practice. First sort out the problem. We have one standard SAP program RSXMB_RESTART_MESSAGES, this program schedule in background. This program execute problem message automatically whenever problem message occur.

There is no problem in resending the message from Message Monitoring using Resend option. We have done it in one of our cases. But before that first identify the problem and resolve it.

Why connection issues reflection on message Processing??

What are those connection issues??

Dont go for alternative way , try to fix the connection issues,this is best way.

we can restart failed messages automatically in Message Monitoing in RWB.
