Instance no. for dialog instance in MSCS configura...

Hi gurus,

I have MSCS setup in my env. node A and B.

I have installed the Central Instance in node A with instance nr 01.

I plan to install the dialog instance in node B. My question is can I use back the same instance nr as 01 for this dialog instance?

So that, only 1 entry is needed in user logon pad and it will not confuse user as in which instance is available for them to logon.

Pls advise.

Hi

Have You solved the problem.

I am also having the same issue.

I installed Central instance in node1 and installed dialog instance in node 2 with differnet number.

But i included the instance number in logon pad. so node 1 is stopped.

From logon pad i could't able to logon to sap system.

If You solved this can you give me reply how you have solved.

Yes, you can use same system number for this dialog instance.
