Adding additional J2EE server nodes on XI 3.0 SP18

Hi

We are on XI 3.0 SP18 and are on a single J2EE server node. We are experiencing heavy bottlenecks on the J2EE server ( the Integration server is ok ) and are looking to add additional J2EE node to the existing setup inorder to do a load balancing so that the two J2EE instances can process messages parallely.

Can somebody out there explain how a single Integration Server instance will feed to two parallel J2EE instances - any application level configuration /basis level configuration that can be setup to control the load balancing parameters in this set up ?

Have you already checked the documents on

http://service.sap.com/instguidesnw04

-> Operations

-> SAP XI

You can find a performance check guide, a High Availability guide and a tuning guide.

Hi,

We can install the local adapter engine to balance the load.
