Explain error

"Item category TATX or COM is not defined for non-material items"

I am trying to blow out a text item from sales BOM in my sales order and it gives that error above.

Please explain.

Its a text item with no material number.

Guess, in VOV7 you have to check the field Item Relevant for Delivery (required for text items). Please check this field.

Hi,

go to VOV4 and maintain that item category determination in T184 table mainstain like below:

ORERLANIL+NIL= TAP

ORERLANIL+TAP=TATX or

ORERLANIL+TAP=TAQ and manual can be TATX
