You can do the planning for internal orders in KO12

You can plan for Single Order OR

Order Group

Version

Currency

You can do Overall Planning

However, this Overall planning values can be decide in Planning Profile (for how many previous or future years can be assigned). This planning profile you must have assigned to Order Type. You must have created the order you are planning is based that Order Type.

To do the internal order planning at primary cost element level, you must need to:

Ensure that the appropriate groups for detailed planning are maintained in the plan profile:

for primary costs, a cost element group

for detailed revenue planning, a revenue element group

for activity input planning, the sender cost center group and the sender activity type group

for statistical key figures, the statistical key figure group

for planning statistical key figures, the statistical key figure group

Hope this informative.

Dear Samir

There are three levels of Internal Order Planning

(1) Overall planning - the simplest form of internal order cost planning. Plan costs are maintained at the order level & can be detailed on an over all and/or annual basis. If the purpose of planning is to compare total actual project cost to plan, over all plan planning is a good option.

(2) Cost Element/ Activity Planning - It offers a cost structure view for cost tracking. Both costs and revenues can be planned for a internal order

(3) Unit Costing - Predominantky used in circumstances, where in more information like quantity, rate of consumption etc are used. Expenses specific to the cost element level are broken down to greater detail through the use of costing sheet and costing variant

Thanks & Best regards
