How to deploy the Portal application in NWDS CE7.1

Hi all,

I am new to NWDS CE7.1. i created the portal application in NWDS CE7.1. i try to deploy the application to my server, but I couldnu2019t find the menu item to deploy.

Hi,

Try to use NWA or visual administrator. There are options available to deploy.

You can deploy directly in NWDS go to Window --> show view --> other --> Deploy View --> Deploy view.

In NW CE 7.1 Deployment of Portal Application

1. After development of project select project click export

2.Under Enterprise portal select Ear file (Make sure u r in Enterprise Portal Perspective )

3.Here u will see the deploy view if not then open it from window --show View --DeployView

4. Select the first node Workspace deployable archive and click on + symol .

5. Select your development

6. To see the preview open the portal with content development right

7.open node portal application here at last u will find your component.

8. Select it and say preview

Note : This workaround i have found dont know the standard way to deploy . If u already found some easy alternative Please let me know .

Hello Kathiresan,

You can deploy with Visual Administrator in usr\sap
DVEBMGS10\j2ee\admin\go.bat once you have provided administrator credentials use "deploy" your application.
