Hi,
We are running a oracle on a windows cluster on which Oracle Failsafe is configured.
I am executing the ora_br_copy command to create the CONTROL.SQL files.
It works fine but the database is always re-started by the Oracle Failsafe but if need to be keep down.
How can I avoid this ?
Thanks,

That's the whole idea behind failsafe,
if the database stops (fails from OFS point-of-view) it will be moved to the other node and restarted.
You have to stop the database through Cluster Manager.
Then you can
- manually start the database through sqlplus
- run ora_br_copy.
