Dear Gurus.
I am installing SAP 4.7 on windows server 2000 with Service pack=4 and oracle 9i with patch 92080
SAp kernel patch is 6.2, SAP GUI 710
every thing was ok during the installation except i got the error at the very last segment of the installation i.e. RFC Jobs (Post processing)... I got the screen asking to change the DDIC Password, as soon as i changed it i got the following error...

Just stop the installation and start the installation and continue the old installation, as i remember this is a bug in ECC 6.0 SR1, but you are installing 4.7 so not sure that it will work or not, if dont have other option you can try this.

I can finish the installation by just removing the only one [CDATA[ERR entry in Keydb File. but this is not going to solve the problem. after removing the same entry it said Installation succesfully. but when i tyried 2 logon using GUI IT shows the
error < A:SY:002 Program SAPMS380 n> at the GUI Screen.
now what to do???
Abhishek
u didnt needed to remove that entry, just have finished it though it might have given errors.
Than should have started SAP,it would have gone fine, just try stop and start of SAP and see if any errors come.
also are u running on Windows or Unix,
send me the dev_w0 file and dev_disp file from work folder, they should help us to get the hold of the issue
