Hi

Auto ud for 03 inspection

what i did for auto UD - whenever inspectionlot TECO,then autoUD job

will carried out

In inprocess inspection -one of the required characteristic rejected

and notification created & not closed and process order TECO'ed.

but the

automatic UD job scheduled- this is closing the inpection lot as

acepted..

How to restrict if any one of MIC failure - Auto UD should not close

the inspection lot(lot status should not UD)

Why 03 inpsection auto UD acepted the lot ? is this std.SAP

if any one of required MIC is failure then Automatic UD will not

close that lot.

is't std behaviour of SAP?

please throw somelights?

Dear Sami,

1) yes you are right In QA41 UD will be given irrespective of whether the mic is rejected or you have defect recording. But QA16 will give UD to only those lot which are accepted.

2) UD of 03 inspection doesnt have any relevance. It will not hamper anhy process niether it will block an further process.

But it gets relevance if you have these

a) RR is mandatory in PP for the order type setting in Tcode OPK4 in config

SPRO > Production> Shop floor control> confirmation> define confirmation parameters

Maintain Results Rec. (QM)- Error message if no Insp results exist.

and if bymistakely if you give the UD for the lot RR cannot be done so it will block CO11N confirmation

b) You can have setting which will connect 03 & 04 inspection. withoout 03 inspection UD given 04 cannot be completed.

please go for QA16. it is trouble free. it will allow UD for only those lot which will have mic accepted. it will not allow UD for rejected lots

because we want to run as background job once/day

Sami,

Yes, it is possible to schedule the job in the background. You need to enter the time and select the indicator periodically, daily etc., as per your requirement.

I already did in QA41 -background job Auto UD

1. what is the difference between qa41 and QA16(schedule background) - means if i schedule QA16 background -it will close only inspection lot which doesn't have any MIC failure and/or defect record/ quality notification?

please correct me if i am wrong.

2. one more question - for inprocess inspection what is the importance of UD(produced Material is not batch managed)

if i didn't make UD -system wise what are the impacts or pros/cons?

can you please throw some lights.
