pls tell me how to make " Mandatory field" for External Service no. , in service line item of service specification screen on CJ20n.

what are the steps for it.

spro->MM->External Service Management -

>Define Screen Layout-->double click on field selection key 09 --->put cursor on service fields and select choose -

---

> here you will find external service no ... select option as required .... check this ...

Use Transaction SHD0 - transaction and screen variant to make fiel manadatory.

can u explain me step by step the detail procedure of the T-code SHD0,

ie how to configure & how to proceed further, to make the field mandatory.

it would be great help for me to understand the t-code.

thks of the solution.

i had tried your solution.

but it's not working.

But in our current system, the system does not proceed further unless we enter the qnty & unit of measure field.The system shows error messages.
