customer creation error

while creating customer for particular sales area the below error is coming.

"Sales area (2000 10 05) is not defined for customers"

where i can do the configuration for this.

please check the following before configuration

T.code VOR1 - Common Dist. Channel

T.code VOR2 - Common Division.

if not done then pl do it and try.

As you are getting error Sales area (2000 10 05) is not defined for customers go to VOR1 & VOR2 and maintain the data and then create the customer master record

Welcome to SDN

Pls Whether your sales area (2000 10 05) Exists in the following T.Codes.If not main it.

T.code VOR1 is for Common Dist. Channel.Check whether you have maintained or not.

T.code VOR2 is for Common Division.Check whether you have maintained or not.

Mainly because of these two you are getting this error.

T.Code OVXA is for Assigning the Division to Sales Org.

T.Code OVXK is for Assigning the Distribution Channel to Sales Org.

T.Code OVXG is for Settingup the Sales Area.

Go to SPRO>>Sales & Distribution>>master Data>>Define Common Distribution Channels/Divisions.

Check if reference Distribution channel/Division is maintained.

Otherwise you will have to extend the customer.

Hi,

Check settings combine sales organisation, combine division, combine distribution channel.

The T.codes are OVAO, OVAM, OVAN

Then assign the permitted sales area to the sales doc type(OVAZ).

Hi,

go to IMG, Sales and distribution, master data, inside this make common sales organization, common distribution channel and common divisions and do this for sharing master data. ur problem is solved

Hi,

Under SPRO- sales and distribution check the master data configuration for common division and distribution channel.
