Hi,

when i'am raising the sales order,i'am getting an error---NO ITEM CATEGORY AVAILABLE(table t184 zmor z001)

Your item category is not determined..

Maintain the below settings in VOV5. It will work.

OR NORM TAN

OR NORM TAC TAE

OR NORM TAE TAE

Hi,

Depending on the item category group that you apply and the sales document type you are processing, the system automatically proposes an item category in the document.

Go to T.code VOV4 you will see the item category assignment.

Item Category is determined by Sales Doc Type + Item Category Group + Usage + Higher Level Item ctegory.

In third party the OR + BANS = TAS

go to t.code VOV5, give the determination like below in (T184 table)

ORNORMNIL+NIL= TAN (ur copied values)

Hi

I think you just copied a new sale order type.

you need do the item category determination before you create any order to determine item category.

SPRO--> S&D --> Sales --> Sales docuements -->Sales document item --> Assign item Categories
